A genuinely excellent neighborhood hardware experience with friendly staff, full stock, and attentive service. Gordon’s Hardware on Washington Ave continues to embody what a true local hardware store should be: helpful, well‑stocked, and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, the staff made the experience easy—they were friendly, quick to offer assistance, and clearly knowledgeable about their inventory. We found everything we needed without any hassle, and every interaction felt sincere rather than scripted. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why small, community‑rooted shops matter. Reliable service, personable staff, and a clean, organized store layout make Gordon’s Hardware a standout in Owensboro. Highly recommended for anyone who values great service and a store that actually has what you came for.

The guys at Gordon's on Washington are always helpful, insightful, and kind. It doesn't matter if I am looking for painting materials, lawn supplies, keys, lighting...they always "patiently" figure out a solution and have the needed items.
